French Crowdfunding Guide Released.

The government of France has released a guide to crowdfunding.  Pierre Moscovici, Minister of Economy and Finance; Arnaud Montebourg, Minister of Productive Recovery, and Fleur Pellerin, Minister for Small and Medium Enterprise, have jointly announced the publication  of the Guide du Financement Participatif (Crowdfunding) published by the  Autorité des Marchés Financiers or (AMF) and l’Autorité de Contrôle Prudentiel (ACP).

The French President had announced on April 29, during the closing Forum on Entrepreneurship, the establishment of a secure legal framework for the deployment of crowdfunding in France.

France Liberte Egalite FraterniteThe Government is targeting September 2013 to craft specific proposals in the hopes of  building an environment that fosters the development of this new form of financing projects. The three forms were discussed; Rewards, Loans and Equity.

In the meantime, and to promote now the development of these platforms funding, the AMF and the ACP have written a guide for project managers to know Specifically, from the law, the regulations that apply today based on methods chosen.
