Item tracking device TrackR Bravo has powered onward with their crowdfunding campaign smashing through their goal and besting expectations of the team behind the project. Crowdfund Insider covered TrackR last Saturday when they stood at $130,000 and since then they have added another $70,000 to the till averaging about $25,000 per day in contributions. More than 3000 backers have pushed this Indiegogo project past the $200K mile marker.
While there are many competitors in the item finder space the TrackR Bravo has generated enough momentum where they have a shot of surpassing the million dollar mark.
A spokesperson for the campaign stated;
Over the past year, the item-tracking space has quickly heated up with at least 10 competitors actively trying to vie for the top spot. One thing that hasn’t been done before is an all-metal item-tracking device due to the radio frequency interference caused by the metal casing. But our team here at TrackR has overcome those hurdles and revealed TrackR bravo to the world via Indiegogo. TrackR bravo is the culmination of five years of research and development, learning from customers and engineering prowess.
Since launching TrackR bravo last Monday, we’ve quickly exceeded our goal – raising over $170,000 in just 7 days, surpassing our goal eight times over. With this success and funding, we will be able to bring TrackR bravo to backers and customers worldwide. But what makes TrackR bravo different than past item-tracking, or even TrackR devices, is the sleek and beautiful design. Our team kept elegance in mind when creating TrackR bravo, using the same type of aluminum used by Apple’s popular MacBook, ensuring a beautiful device without sacrificing quality or functionality.
