Seeking to bring its stylish technology to wrists everywhere, New York-based company elemoon launched a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter earlier this week for its new self-titled technology bracelet. Not only does the device change colors to make any outfit, it alerts the person wearing it of important calls/text and helps to find a missing cellphone.

elemoon 2According to its campaign website, the elemoon combines a touch interface, activity sensor, notifications and colorful lights in an elegant accessory that syncs with you.

elemoon’s unique features are the following:

  • Match Every Outfit: Express your personal style. elemoon allows you to sync your outfit with its LED lights or customize and design with the elemoon app for iPhone and Android. This is one accessory that matches every style.
  • Receive Custom Notifications: Get a text or call but don’t want to pull out your phone to see if its urgent? elemoon displays custom icons for the people who matter to you.
  • Find Your Phone: Never lose your phone again! elemoon lets you know when you accidentally forget your phone before you get too far away. Don’t know where you left it? Just rub elemoon to set off an audio alert so you can find it right away.

Not only does it accessorize and helps to find cellphone, elemoon’s surface is made from the newest water-resistant and natural polymer.

elemoon 4Sharing details about the elemoon’s history, the team wrote, “We’ve always wanted to make tech products more humane and convey more emotions. A year ago, the emergence of wearable technology captured our imagination. We knew that software combining hardware could bring truly emotional experiences and be a bigger part of people’s lives.”

“At the very beginning, we knew we wanted to make something different. We decided to start with a bracelet and gradually master the art and science of a whole jewelry line: necklaces, earrings, cufflinks – you name it!”

“Everyone on our team is obsessed with colors and Native American jewelry. And we have an eclectic taste in fashion. So we started to imagine recreating traditional jewelry with futuristic material and interactive features.”

Since its launch on Tuesday (August 12th), the campaign has raised half of its initial $100,000 goal. Its team announced, once it receives the funds, the bracelet would be delivered on Valentine’s Day 2015.
