BrewDog Gifts Donald Trump Shares in Company. Asks Him to Stop Trying to Be Leader of Free World in Return

Donald Trump and BrewDog Beer

Perpetually crowdfunding company BrewDog has published an open letter to America’s newest political nemesis Donald Trump.  In an effort to help stop the Trump buffoonery freight train, BrewDog co-founder James Watt offered a gift of 2 shares in his company;

“…You see, Christmas is a time for peace and goodwill to your fellow man. I am making the gift of two Equity for Punks shares to you with a single aim in mind – that it will spark a desire in you to get back into business (locking yourself in your office, if necessary).

In turn hopefully you will give a gift to the rest of humanity – that you will stop trying to become leader of the free world. Please. Then we can all get on with our lives in that world filled with life, liberty and the pursuit of hoppiness.”

BrewDog Cocoa Psycho BeerOf course the pitch to candidate Trump helps to bring additional exposure to the ongoing Equity for Punks crowdfunding round.  BrewDog has always taken a road less traveled in promoting its Beer and it’s company, so this is no surprise. But perhaps a keg of beer would have been a better gift for the Donald? Maybe if Trump drank a few Punk IPAs or Cocoa Psycho stouts he would come to his senses and stop talking such nonsense? Then again, maybe not.
