CrowdfundX’s Darren Marble Joins Crowdfunding Professional Association’s Board of Directors

On Monday, CrowdfundX announced its CEO and founder, Darren Marble, has been selected to join Crowdfunding Professional Association (CfPA) board of directors. This news comes just a few months after the CfPA expanded the board from 3 to 13 members.

CfPA Board of Directors 2015The CfPA is an advocacy group that works to support the nascent industry of crowdfunding. Leadership interacts with elected officials, regulatory bodies, innovative Fintech startups as well as traditional financial firms, interested in building a healthy ecosystem of internet finance. Sharing details about his new position, Marble stated:

I’m honored to join the CfPA as a Board Member. My vision is for the Crowdfinance industry to provide emerging companies with the capital they need faster, cheaper and more efficiently than ever before. I am eager to offer my time and energy to help CfPA achieve its stated mission.”

Scott McIntyre, CfPA’s president and chairman, then noted:

Our 13-member board is stacked with passionate, diligent and brilliant professionals from all walks, and Darren represents an ideal addition to the board as we move the organization into more public-facing operations.”

Darren revealed to Crowdfund Insider his thoughts on the direction that CfPA has taken:

Darren Marble“Historically, the CfPA has been an insiders organization promoting networking and educational opportunities for its members. With equity crowdfunding picking up serious momentum in the last twelve months, the CfPA is not only going to become more mainstream, but it will become an increasingly important organization in the industry. We are already in discussions with some of the largest and most well-known financial institutions in the world about joining the CfPA either as Advisors or speakers at our upcoming CfPA Annual Crowdfinance Summit, which will be announced in the near future.”

In regards to what he wishes to contribute to the organization, Darren added:

“My main objective is to help the CfPA build brand equity through smart, multi-channel marketing and by partnering with leading financial services executives who can bring added credibility to our organization. I am beyond excited to be working with such a talented and dedicated Board of Directors to make this vision a reality.”
