Fundbox, a cash flow optimization tool for small businesses, announced on Tuesday it has officially launched its new smartphone app, which reportedly offers SMB owners the same features as the Fundbox web-based dashboard experience; a convenient one-click invoice financing solution and the ability to manage repayments.

FundboxPrashant Fuloria, chief product officer of Fundbox, stated:

“Our mission has always been to empower small businesses with an easy and convenient way to close their cash flow gaps. Mobile use is the new norm, and our app offers a more streamlined experience for small business owners to manage their business finances when working outside of the office or away from their computer, through this natural touch point.”

This news comes nearly a year after the company secured $50 million in its equity funding round led by investor, Spark Capital Growth. Other participants of the funding round include Bezos Expeditions (the personal investment arm of Jeff Bezos), Ashton Kutcher and Guy Oseary’s Sound Ventures, Entrée Capital and existing investors: Khosla Ventures, General Catalyst Partners, Shlomo Kramer, and Blumberg Capital.  The company closed a successful $40 million Series B funding round in March 2015.
