Update: Everlast Notebook Nears $1.3 Million During the Final Week on Kickstarter

With less than three days until its Kickstarter campaign comes to an end, Rocketbook’s latest project, Everlast Notebook, is nearing $1.3 million thanks to nearly 20,000 backers. The campaign made its debut in November and quickly raised its initial $26,000 funding target.

everlastAs previously reported, the Everlast Notebook provides a classic pen and paper experience; it is built for the digital age. The notebook is Rocketbook‘s third successful crowdfunding so far (Indiegogo and Kickstarter).  Although it looks like a typical notebook, the Everlast Notebook is reusable and can connect to all of the user’s favorite cloud services. The notebook is also compatible with the Rocketbook app, which means before the user’s notes go off the page, they go online to destinations like Google Drive, Dropbox, and Evernote. Rocketbook explained:

“The Rocketbook System is the combination of a special notebook and a free mobile app. Write notes and create designs in your notebook with a pen. Then, using patent-pending image capture technology, the Rocketbook app accurately and quickly captures and sends your notes to pre-configured cloud services.”

The Everlast Notebook now uses any pen from the Pilot Frixion line. Frixion gel ballpoint pens come in all different kinds and colors and are available for purchase online and in stores. Rocketbook also stated:

We worked closely with paper industry experts to find the optimal synthetic polyester blend to create pages that could be wiped clean of Frixion ink, but also felt perfectly natural to write on. Writing on an Everlast page feels just like writing on regular paper with a smooth finish.”

everlast-notebookOther features of the Everlast Notebook include:

  • Intelligent Pages: Each page in Everlast contains a special QR code that tells the Rocketbook app the page number of each scan.
  • Dot Grid+: Everlast’s pages feature a unique dot grid pattern perfect for text notes, sketches, and diagrams.
  • Smudge Free Zone: The Friction pen inks completely dries and bonds to the page in about 15 seconds. This means there will be no smudge accidents.

Everlast’s Kickstarter campaign is set to close on January 15th and estimated delivery time for the notebooks this spring.
