According to its creators, this is the most efficient light bulb in the world; the average energy-saving bulb would consume – under the same conditions – 24 watts, while anLED requires 20 watts.
“The NanoLight is the first LED lamp of its kind, as it reduces energy consumption by nearly half [compared to today’s LED], says Gimmy Chu, one of the engineers who invented the new bulb. “Using only 12 watts of electricity produces 1600 units Lumen – or the equivalent of a 100 watt incandescent bulb.”
