Outgrow.me is one of several sites which have been launched to act as a “store” for crowdfunded products. And yes, you have to hand it to the designers who put this together – it is pretty cool. We originally keyed in on the site last year and brought it to the attention of our readers. So it is a nice recognition to acknowledged as “One of the 50 Best Websites for 2013”. There’s no shortage of cool products coming out of popular crowdfunding sites Kickstarter and Indiegogo. The problem, however, is that it’s hard to keep track of the products you want to buy once they’re finally in production. Outgrow.me solves that problem by featuring only Kickstarter and Indiegogo products that are either available for purchase or preorder. If it’s not on the site, it’s either not ready or it didn’t get enough funding.
As products migrate from the crowdfunding realm of business concept to product reality, Outgrow.me has filled a necessary niche for many of the successfully crowdfunded products.
