Crowdfunding Mailbox: Tagtal Stylus, Isowalk and Xentry

crowdfundinsidermailboxThis is a short week in the United States due to the Holiday (July 4th) and the fact that many people take an extended weekend to enjoy summer events.  For Crowdfund Insider it has been a very busy week with exciting news the SEC is finally getting close to allowing popular crowdfunding.  It will be fascinating to see how crowdfunding evolves and how many campaigns shift to equity crowdfunding from rewards based campaigns.

As always if you would like to share your crowdfunding campaign with Crowdfund Insider please email us at info@crowdfundinsider.com.

Found in this weeks mailbox (and via Twitter) we have selected three crowdfunding campaigns to feature.

Tagtal “tStylus” is very techie so watch the video and you will get it.  Some people use stylus’ for their iPads but they are just finger substitutes.  The Tagtal Stylus takes their device to an entirely new level.  You can actually tap images and data with the stylus and then transfer it to another touch screen.

Isowalk is a device designed to replace the cane.  Cane’s aren’t very sexy but this one incorporates new technology to help people that need them –  to walk.

Xentry capitalizes the fact that most of us have old smartphones laying around that could be repurposed (unless you have handed them down to your kids).  This company takes these old iPhones and turns them into a “Smart Door” where you can stream video and audio to see who is at the door.

Xentry

Xentry: Transform your Spare Smartphone into a Smart Door – Indiegogo

Reuse your spare smartphone to stream live audio/video over your WiFi so that you can communicate with visitors at your door.

You can easily install Xentry to any glass surface or any door with a peephole.

To get clear sound to and from the visitor outside, Xavage developed a proprietary, patent-pending audio transfer system that simplifies the electronics used. This system includes acoustic channels, customized peephole, and other sound enhancing elements.

Current housing designs accommodate the iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4/4S, and Samsung Galaxy S Fascinate.

For the Xentry System to work, install Xentry’s software onto the Xentry at the door and your mobile devices (viewer).  The viewing software works on any of the current iPhone or Android models in the market.

Tagtal stylus

Tagtal tStylus, the first digital dropper – Indiegogo

Tagtal tStylus is an innovative capacitive stylus which can be used to pick up, hold and drop down data on surface of touch screen as like chemical dropper.

For many, many years we can only see, click or touch the visualized data on screen but you can never take it out or drop in data just right on screen. Is that stupid? Kind of. The data is contained in a box with a glass front panel (called as display) the only way to get the data out/in is to press a button to “send or receive” it from one place to another. It is kind of ridiculous and maybe the largest legacy technology surviving right under our eyes everyday but ignoring by us for so long.

Why do not we just pick up a piece of data, pictures, text, videos, colors, links right from the surface of screen and drop it onto another screen? That is simple, intuitive and elegant way to engage the data around us. Hard to say we didn’t even think about it but all in Sci-Fi stories.

Guys, it is 2013, that can not stay in Sci-Fi anymore. We are exciting to announce that you can do that with Tagtal tStylus powered by OSP (On-Screen Port) now. And, OSP SDK is going to be open for all developers.

This is NOT just another stylus but an innovation of human computer interaction. It is also our dream, a dream to have ability to pick, hold, and drop digital data as real matters, a dream we have imagined, novelized, filmed and posted for years.

Isowalk Intelligent Mobility

Isowalk Intelligent Mobility – Indiegogo

An intelligent walking aid that actively assists and adapts to each user. Also becomes a smart object for wireless alerts, feedback and more!

Isowalk is the world’s first intelligent walking assistant. It replaces primitive canes with modern technology that’s been designed from the ground up to adapt itself to each individual user and actively help them walk.

A breakthrough in personal mobility, Isowalk combines the best of modern ergonomics, orthopedics, biomechanics, aerospace engineering and aesthetic design. Isowalk’s innovations have already been awarded two U.S. patents.

We believe Isowalk is already the world’s best walking aid, even while it’s still in beta!
