Donald Trump, FundAnything Announce $1 Million Bounty for Beating Crowdfunding Record

FundAnything LogoDonald Trump is offering a $1 million reward to the first person who uses FundAnything to break the all-time crowdfunding record using the funds raised for the Pebble Watch as his benchmark.  Trump is a co-founder of the crowdfunding platform.

Donald Trump“If you have a great idea, FundAnything is one of the best ways to raise money that I’ve ever seen,” explained Trump. “So I’m giving away $1 million to the first person who raises more than the $10,181,000 that Pebble Watch raised on Kickstarter. I want the whole world to know how fast and easy it is to raise money this way.”

Crowdfunding has been one of the fastest growing areas on the Internet. Last year, sites like  raised more than $3 billion for business and creative ideas, charitable causes, community projects and personal needs. Over $5 billion is expected to be crowdfunded in 2013.

“Right now there’s someone out there with a great idea and a burning desire to be the next Steve Jobs,” added Trump. “I want that person to know I’ve got one million reasons why FundAnything is the best place to turn that dream into a reality.”
