“The Chainsmokers wanted to create the first-ever fan-sourced tour and bring their music to where their fans are. College students across the nation will act together on Tilt to bring their favorite artist to their city. The first six cities to pre-sell 800 tickets will get a concert. The #TiltTour is all about following your fans and performing where the demand is.”
The platform revealed that any accredited undergraduate institution, excluding online universities, located within the contiguous United States are eligible for the #TiltTour. The first six schools that pre-sell 800 tickets will become an official stop of the event.
Tilt also noted:
“Once you find your school’s tilt, make sure to use the INVITE feature on the tilt to get ALL of your friends to come along. It’s a race! The first six schools to pre-sell 800 tickets will win a spot. As an added bonus, if your school is one of the winners and you are one of the top 5 referrers, we’ll upgrade your ticket(s) to VIP.”
Those who can’t find their schools may do the following:
- Submit a request to enter your school into the competition. Remember, we’ll need to receive at a minimum, 20 requests from different students before we can establish a tilt for your campus.
- Try searching for a college that’s nearby. For example, if you live in the Los Angeles area, you could look for University of Southern California or University of California – Los Angeles. You don’t have to be a student at the school to be able to go to the concert.
Tilt added that anyone who’s a fan of The Chainsmokers (that’s 18 and over), may participate in the event.
