Closing Tomorrow: Rocketbook to Close Everlast Notebook Kickstarter With More Than $1.5 Million in Funds

Boston-based Rocketbook is set to secure $1.5 million from 23,700 backers on Kickstarter for its latest project, the Everlast Notebook. The campaign was launched at the end of November and quickly raised its initial $26,000 funding target. This is Rocketbook‘s third successful crowdfunding project so far (Indiegogo and Kickstarter).

everlast-notebookThe Everlast Notebook provides a classic pen and paper experience; it is built for the digital age. Although it looks like a typical notebook, the Everlast Notebook is reusable and can connect to all of the user’s favorite cloud services. The notebook is also compatible with the Rocketbook app, which means before the user’s notes go off the page, they go online to destinations like Google Drive, Dropbox, and Evernote. It was revealed:

“The Rocketbook System is the combination of a special notebook and a free mobile app. Write notes and create designs in your notebook with a pen. Then, using patent-pending image capture technology, the Rocketbook app accurately and quickly captures and sends your notes to pre-configured cloud services.”

Features of the Everlast Notebook are the following:

  • Intelligent Pages: Each page in Everlast contains a special QR code that tells the Rocketbook app the page number of each scan.
  • Dot Grid+: Everlast’s pages feature a unique dot grid pattern perfect for text notes, sketches, and diagrams.
  • Smudge Free Zone: The Friction pen inks completely dries and bonds to the page in about 15 seconds. This means there will be no smudge accidents.

Everlast’s Kickstarter campaign is set to close tomorrow (January 15th) and estimated delivery time for the notebooks this spring.
