Blockchain 2.0: 2018 Legal & Regulatory Developments – New York City

September 6, 2018 @ 9:00 am - 12:30 pm EDT

Blockchain has become one of the biggest buzzwords across the legal, technology, and financial fields. Join us for a half-day program where we will explore the issues that arise after you have gotten past the basic questions of “what is blockchain?” and “how does it work?” Listen to our speakers provide in-depth discussions on blockchain regulation and taxation, and learn more about how blockchain is used with smart contracts.

This half-day program will offer in-depth discussions about the evolving landscape of regulation for tokens and ICOs.

We will review enforcement actions related to blockchain technology, exchanges, advisors, broker-dealers, and investments, and explore potential taxation issues regarding blockchain.

We will also analyze the implications of blockchain technology in other markets, such as health care and insurance, and how it will impact other legal issues, including jurisdiction and evidence.
