The Moroccan Capital Markets Authority (AMMC) has published a new guide on crowdfunding.
The guide is to help market participants understand the regulatory and legal requirements to operate under the new framework.
According to the AMMC:
“The new handbook presents a summary of the main questions relating to the functioning of crowdfunding in Morocco, its players and the regulators who oversee this activity, on the basis of the legal and regulatory provisions in force. Following the launch of a web portal dedicated to crowdfunding on the AMMC website last September, interested parties can contact the AMMC for information on the
framework and the authorization process.”
The legal framework for crowdfunding was said to be ready in September 2023,
