Nexbridge, in partnership with Bitfinex Securities, will offer tokenized US Treasuries, according to a release.
The digital securities will utilize Bitcoin’s Liquid Network and Blockstream’s AMP technology. USTBL is said to be the first regulated offering for “US Treasury exposure” built on Bitcoin tech. The offering is regulated in El Salvador under its Digital Asset Law.
Bitfinex was the first platform to gain approval under the law.
Nicolas Cane, CEO of NexBridge, says traditional finance is ready to embrace blockchain and that by building on Liquid Network they are creating a unified standard that allows movement between jurisdictions and exchanges.
Bitfinex Securities, founded in 2021, is regulated in Kazakhstan and El Salvador.
