Jon Medved: OurCrowd Now The World’s Largest Equity Crowdfunding Site

In a seemingly random interview done on a taxi ride from Nazareth to Jerusalem, OurCrowd CEO Jon Medved shares some interesting statistics about his company. He says that OurCrowd is the largest equity-based crowdfunding platform in the world.

We have now emerged as the world’s largest crowdfunding-for-equity site. Actually, when I just looked at the data in terms of how some of the other sites are doing – you hear a lot about AngelList or Funders Club, CircleUp, some of these others – we’ve actually raised more money at OurCrowd than any of these other sites. We’ve raised 23 million dollars for 28 companies at the moment.
