Capsa AI Raises $18 Million Series A

Capsa AI has raised $18 million in Series A funding, according to a company statement. The funding round was led by TX Ventures and Pivot Investment Partners. Other investors include Bek Ventures, along with existing backers Antler, Outward VC, Cornerstone VC, and prominent angels such as Paul Forster, co-founder of Indeed. The company has now raised $20 million in total.

Capsa AI is targeting the private equity sector, which apparently needs better organization. The company states that private capital manages over $15 trillion in assets but much of this activity is tracked across PDFs, emails and spreadsheets.

Capsa AI taps into data across various sources to create a single point of knowledge.

Capsa AI was founded by individuals who struggled with collecting private capital. Capsa AI CEO Danyal Oezduezenciler reportedly pursued over 50 due diligence processes for large investors and thus understands the struggle. The service embeds its platform across the full fund lifecycle: sourcing, due diligence, portfolio monitoring, and back-office operations.

Oezduezenciler says that private capital is one of the most data-intensive sectors of finance, and it is currently underserved.

Founded in the UK in 2024 Capsa has offices in London and New York.
