Fintechs based in France raised €680 million in equity capital for seven deals during the month of June.
As shared by the France Fintech association, this brings total 2026 funding to €1.2 billion or 2.5X the previous year. For the year, the average funding was €35 million but the activity was driven by larger deals.
In June, Alan raised €480 million and Morpho booked €152 million.
Alan is an Insurtech that has also set up shop in Canada.
Morpho is a lending provider that enables crypto backed loans. The company reports over $3.5 billion in loans and more than $10.1 billion in deposits. Morpho is integrated into large crypto platforms like Coinbase, Kraken and Binance.
