Invesdor, one of the first securities crowdfunding platforms in Europe, has listed an offering that provides access to Stripe, one of the largest private Fintechs in the world.
According to Invesdor, investors can gain exposure to Stripe through its new “Pre-IPO” bond.
The offering page indicates that €129,750 has been committed so far, with a closing date of August 3, 2026. The maximum offering has been set at €5 million.
The “bond” is subordinated and priced at €250.00 each with a transaction cost of 1.5%.
Similar to what some other online investment platforms have done, the bond is tied to the value of Stripe, which is held through an intermediary, Cometum Direct Invest Ill GmbH & Co. KG (Stripe), which acquires and manages the position in the company. COMETUM is a German investment manager focused on private‑market offerings. Investors may realize a capital gain (or loss) upon an IPO or other exit event, such as a sale of the company.
Stripe was most recently valued at $159 billion in February during an employee tender to provide liquidity for early shareholders.
Stripe is a profitable private Fintech company widely used globally for financial transactions. It was recently reported that Stripe is in talks to acquire PayPal, a deal that could be transformative.
Invesdor is pursuing a trend in online investment platforms of offering not just early-stage securities but providing more mature, later-stage offerings, which tend to hold lower risk for investors. By creating the bond vehicle, Invesdor is able to create an opportunity that is more accessible to smaller investors.
Invesdor was first launched in 2012 in Finland but has since expanded to offer investments across all of Europe.
