Cloudflare (NYSE:NET), the internet infrastructure platform that just about everyone in the world uses, says it has integrated artificial intelligence (AI) agents, digital wallets, and the ability to use stablecoins.
Cloudflare Wallets will enable agentic commerce in a secure environment. Cloudflare Wallets and Cloudflare.pay aim to ensure identity and secure transactions. The “Account Wallet” will be able to receive, hold, and manage stablecoin balances, with agents able to spend the holdings.
Matthew Prince, co-founder and CEO of Cloudflare, says the internet is moving to agentic-driven commerce and infrastructure must keep pace.
“When an agent shows up at your door, you need to know who sent it. Cloudflare can give agents a face—a link to the human or organization that owns them—so that trust, accountability, and real commerce can follow. It’s the identity and payment infrastructure the agentic web needs to function.”
