MoonPay Introduces Platform for Stablecoin Transfers, Issuance, Treasury Management

MoonPay has introduced MoonPay Enterprise, a stablecoin infrastructure solution aimed at banks, financial technology firms, and merchants seeking streamlined global payment capabilities. This marks the company’s most significant platform growth since purchasing the stablecoin infrastructure firm Iron in March 2025.

The offering unifies several key functions—fiat collection, conversion into digital assets, treasury oversight, token issuance, and cross-border settlements—into one integrated system.

Built upon the technology acquired from Iron, the platform enables organizations to create virtual accounts, oversee multi-currency holdings, and transfer value internationally using conventional banking channels such as ACH, wire transfers, and SWIFT.

Incoming traditional currency deposits convert automatically into stablecoins and deposit directly into designated digital wallets via a single application programming interface.

This approach eliminates the previous need for companies to coordinate multiple specialized vendors for on-ramps, issuance, liquidity, and settlement, thereby reducing operational friction, costs, and compliance complexities.

Key features of MoonPay Enterprise include inbound payment collection through regional systems like SEPA, ACH, FPS, and PIX, alongside international SWIFT options.

Users gain access to institutional-grade liquidity supporting treasury activities, platform funding needs, and sizable over-the-counter exchanges.

Outbound capabilities allow disbursements either in stablecoins or local fiat currencies within supported regions.

Additionally, clients can create fully backed, customizable white-label stablecoins leveraging the platform’s dedicated issuance tools.

Company leadership highlighted the practical demands driving this development.

Founder and CEO Ivan Soto-Wright noted that organizations increasingly handle payroll for workforces spanning numerous nations, oversee diverse currency reserves, and complete settlements rapidly.

He emphasized the value of a singular system that handles issuance, conversion, and value movement worldwide.

MoonPay Enterprise CEO Max Wallenberg added that enterprises should not have to master banking systems, liquidity handling, or blockchain operations independently; the platform delivers these functions as ready infrastructure through one connection.

The solution draws on MoonPay’s established regulatory presence, encompassing money transmitter authorizations across all US states, a New York BitLicense, European MiCA authorization, and further registrations in the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, and additional jurisdictions.

It holds certifications including SOC 2, PCI DSS, and ISO 27001.

The company reports that the platform already manages substantial transaction volumes reaching hundreds of millions of dollars across more than 190 countries, serving over 50 enterprise clients.

Specific availability depends on location, regulatory environment, asset type, and trading pairs.

Early adopters demonstrate practical applications.

Payroll provider Deel employs the system for stablecoin-based compensation. Payments firm Paysafe incorporates it within its large-scale platform to enable merchant cryptocurrency acceptance at checkout.

Additional collaborators include Whop, WalletConnect, Ingenico, Avici, Exodus, Citrea, and Scopex. By consolidating previously fragmented tools, MoonPay Enterprise seeks to simplify the operational challenges of blending traditional finance with stablecoin technology, supporting efficient global value transfers for a range of institutional users.
