Stord, a commerce fulfilment and technology company, has secured a $400 million credit facility led by Citi, with Morgan Stanley, JPMorgan, First Citizens, Citizens, and KeyBank also participating, to expand its logistics operations and accelerate investments in artificial intelligence and robotics.
The facility was oversubscribed at nearly twice the amount Stord initially sought, the company said.
Together with a $250 million Series F round completed earlier in 2026 at a $3 billion valuation, the financing brings its total equity and credit capacity secured this year to $650 million.
Stord plans to use the funding to add capacity to its fulfilment network, advance automation and robotics development at Stord Labs, and expand the commerce software and AI tools it provides to brands.
The company said it is approaching $1 billion in revenue run-rate and has grown tenfold over the past four years.
Stord Labs, based at the company’s Atlanta headquarters, develops and tests robotics and AI systems for deployment across its operations.
Its teams also work directly within Stord’s facilities and customer businesses to integrate the technology into day-to-day operations, the company said.
The company operates nearly 100 fulfilment locations worldwide, serves more than 1,000 brands and processes over $15 billion in gross merchandise value annually.
Its delivery network reaches about one in four U.S. households each year.
Stord also announced two senior appointments alongside the financing. Bill Zerella joins as chief financial officer after serving in the same role at ACV Auctions, a publicly traded marketplace and technology company focused on the automotive industry.
Zerella previously led finance at Fitbit, helping oversee the company’s growth before and after its 2015 initial public offering.
Mark Wayland joins as chief revenue officer, bringing more than three decades of enterprise sales experience.
He most recently served as chief revenue officer at Box, following similar roles at Tanium and a tenure at Salesforce, where he rose to senior vice president of Marketing Cloud.
Chief Executive and co-founder Sean Henry said the new financing would support further expansion of the company’s fulfilment network and increased investment in AI and robotics as Stord develops its technology and logistics platform.
