Pine Labs and Stripe are partnering to help retailers in Singapore manage online and in-store payments through a single platform, as businesses seek to simplify payment operations across digital and physical sales channels.
The unified commerce solution will combine Stripe’s online payment capabilities with Pine Labs’ network of payment terminals and merchant services, according to an announcement.
Eligible retailers will be able to process online transactions through Stripe and accept card payments at physical stores using Pine Labs-powered terminals from November 2026.
The companies said on Friday that the integration is intended to reduce the complexity and costs associated with managing separate payment providers for e-commerce websites and physical outlets.
They are also planning to extend the offering to other Southeast Asian markets in 2027.
Under the arrangement, merchants will have access to a consolidated view of transactions across their online and in-store operations, potentially reducing the time and resources spent on payment reconciliation and reporting.
The platform will also incorporate Pine Labs’ merchant services, including installment financing, loyalty-linked payments, promotional campaigns and digital marketing tools.
Retailers will be able to offer installment payment plans across multiple card issuers, allow customers to pay using loyalty points and provide merchant-funded discounts.
Pine Labs’ marketing capabilities will also support instant promotions and campaigns targeting cross-border customers.
The payment infrastructure will support credit cards, QR codes and contactless transactions across different types of Pine Labs terminals.
Pine Labs chief executive B Amrish Rau said retailers increasingly expect their online and physical operations to work as a connected business rather than separate sales channels.
“Retailers no longer think of e-commerce and physical stores as separate channels,” Rau said, adding that the partnership would combine Stripe’s online payment capabilities with Pine Labs’ in-store commerce network to improve operational efficiency and customer engagement.
For larger retailers, fragmented payment systems can mean dealing with different vendors for online transactions, physical stores, installment financing and business analytics.
This can complicate transaction reporting, delay reconciliation and increase operating expenses.
The companies said the unified platform would give merchants greater visibility over payments and customer activity across their businesses while providing additional tools to attract and retain customers.
Pine Labs and Stripe plan to demonstrate the solution at the Singapore Fintech Festival 2026.
