5th ECN CrowdCamp, Sustainable Finance – Virtual

We cordially invite you to the 5th ECN CrowdCamp focusing on Sustainable Finance, to be live-streamed from June 10th to 12th, 2020. Each day will live stream keynotes and panels from 13.00 to 16.00.

The 5th ECN CrowdCamp will explore the future of crowdfunding within the Sustainable Finance framework, looking at the wider European policy context, best practices for sustainability in the crowdfunding sector, and insights from other key capital markets stakeholders. We will seek open discourse elaborating strategies, best practices and failure.

The European Commission has long been a strong supporter of a professional crowdfunding sector, and with the European harmonization of crowdfunding expected to come into effect in 2021, crowdfunding will be able to play an important role in gaining citizens support to the European Green Deal.

During the 5th ECN CrowdCamp, our speakers will share experience on The European Vision on Sustainable Finance and the European Green Deal on day one, we will explore the challenging topic of Making Crowdfunding Sustainable on day two and focus the third day on The Investor’s Perspective, gathering insights on Sustainability, Transparency and Investor Protection, as well as lessons learned from the Capital Markets.

By joining the event, you will have the chance to learn from the speaker’s experience and market insights, but also discuss with other participants and sector experts, including European crowdfunding platforms, professional investors, policymakers and other stakeholders. Participants will receive access to a discussion forum that will be used to field questions and hold discussions.
