Fintech Policy Summit 2021 – Virtual

In the US, the industry is committed to working with regulators to create an appropriate framework to foster responsible innovation and inclusivity within financial services. The 2021 AFC Policy Summit will bring together thought leaders from the private and public sectors to continue constructive dialogue between the industry, advocacy community, and various regulatory agencies.

The Summit seeks to create opportunity for responsible industry participants to share insights, propose standards, and provide regulators and policymakers with consensus viewpoints on the regulation of financial technology companies. It will be a gathering place for the broader fintech industry to network, collaborate, engage, and support the AFC’s core principals of supporting the use of technology to develop financial service to enrich people’s lives, offering affordable, transparent, and responsible products, advancing financial inclusion and racial equity, and embracing and supporting regulation that furthers and promotes responsible innovation.

Topics to be covered include Navigating State Regulatory Structure, Regulatory Innovation: Federal Fintech Agenda, Serving the Underserved, Balancing Innovation and Consumer Protection, and more.  The AFC Policy Summit will include participants who are industry leaders, policymakers, academics, lawyers, consumer advocates, and regulatory agencies, amongst others.
