Spain Startup was founded in 2012, amidst the economic crisis, as a joint initiative with IE Business School with the conviction that entrepreneurs were the driving force to reactivate the economy.

In 2014, we broadened our reach to prove to the world the talent, the innovation and the opportunities from the South creating South Summit. In only 3 years, South Summit has become the worldwide reference as leading event around innovation, with more than 12.500 attendees from more than 100 nationalities.
