The Future of Alternative Finance – Washington, DC

In May 2015, we will be hosting a thoughtful and engaging roundtable discussion in Washington DC to discuss the future of finance, including topics such as non-bank financing, whether in the form of private securities or crowdfunding, alternative investments, crypto-currencles, shadow vs. narrow banking, the evolving role of exchanges, global fiscal and monetary polices, international trade with emerging “beggar thy neighbor initiatives, and the future of both the dollar and the Euro on the global stage. The format will consist of a moderated discussion between industry practitioners and thought leaders, representatives from leading think tanks, regulators, policy makers, pundits, and members of the FinTech community, with the hope of providing a vision for where finance is headed, how it will be applied, and who will be the New World participants. A plenary session of 40, we hope this limited gathering will yield a provocative yet timely view of the lifeblood of global commerce. The session will be webcast and transcribed for broader viewership. We welcome suggestions for invitees who may contribute to the dialogue.
