Workshop on Cross Border Crowdfunding within the Capital Market Union – Brussels

The European Crowdfunding Network will hold a workshop with interested parties on cross border crowdfunding and alternative finance with DG FISMA in Brussels.

The workshop will take place on June 21, 2017, from 10.00AM to 14.30PM on the premises of the European Commission.

During the workshop participants are invited to provide recommendations on regulatory aspects, operational aspects as well as disclosure and safeguards, which will form part of recommendations to the Capital Market Union mid-term review. Relevant background will be provided based on ECN ongoing research 

ECN welcomes expressions of interest, especially from crowdfunding platforms active in tradable securities and lending, as well as other Fintech companies and alternative finance providers: These should be send to ECN at CMU@eurocrowd.org to inquire about participation possibilities. Places are limited and preference will be given to service providers active in cross border services and other relevant stakeholders.
