Brown cites legislative successes

Republican Scott P. Brown rocketed to national political fame 33 months ago winning a seat in the U.S. Senate on promises that he would stop Obamacare, curb federal stimulus spending, cut business taxes and urgently seek bipartisan solutions to the economic crisis gripping the country.

He has been busy ever since aiming to live up to all of the above with some successes, but many disappointments as Mr. Brown himself has acknowledged, in part because partisan gridlock has only worsened since he took office in early 2010 and the 2012 presidential election approached.
