Today we’re excited to announce the release of the first version of our crowdfunding directory.
Our directory allows users to search our database of sites as well as filter by type and country. We’ve leveraged Twitter Bootstrap to make the site fully responsive, so you can add a bookmark on your mobile device and use it much like you would a normal app. You never know when you may need to remember a site on the go!
For the geeks in the crowd, our directory is built using version 3.2 of Ruby on Rails. We’re also using MongoDB for fast reads. We’ve used HAML and SASS for awesome front-end markup, as well as a host of other open-source technologies.
Companies can submit listings to us now using the Add a Company page. We have pre-populated the database with a number of existing sites as well, so check to see if your site is already listed!
