DANVILLE — U.S. Sen. Mark Warner will sponsor a “crowdfunding” event for Virginia-based entrepreneurs Thursday, Nov. 29, from noon to 1 p.m. at the Institute for Advanced Learning and Research in Danville.
The workshop, which is free, will offer information about raising capital from conventional sources such as friends, venture capital firms and angel investors, and emerging sources like crowdfunding websites.
