One company that has been at the forefront of the effort to influence those rules is RocketHub, a donation- and rewards-based crowdfunding site based in New York. Itself a small business, RocketHub debuted in 2010 and now has about 10 employees, including its four founders — but is still viewed as one of the largest American crowdfunding platforms.
