Young Austrian entrepreneurs would like to see more emphasis on alternate means of financing such as crowdfunding in the near future. The shoe manufacturer Heini Staudinger from Waldviertel is currently at odds with the financial authorities because of such citizen initiated financing methods.
Austrian young entrepreneurs are looking optimistically into the future despite difficult economic conditions – but with some caution nevertheless. „ Although economic conditions are not becoming easier, local young entrepreneurs are in confident, yet somewhat measured spirit. Their assessment of the overall economic development is one of continuity. Having said that, they expect politicians to take action and decisive steps to improve the current economic environemnt and to solve the state of crisis“, summarizes Markus Roth, Austrian Federal Chair of Young Entrepreneurs (JW) the findings of a recent market survey of 1200 local entrepreneurs.

Verhaltener Optimismus bei Jungunternehmern
Sorgen bereitet den jungen Unternehmern die Zurückhaltung der Banken bei Krediten.
Heimische Jungunternehmer blicken trotz schwieriger wirtschaftlicher Rahmenbedingungen optimistisch in die Zukunft – wenn auch verhalten. “Obwohl das wirtschaftliche Umfeld nicht einfacher wird, zeigen die heimischen Jungunternehmer weiterhin eine verhalten zuversichtliche Grundstimmung. Ihre Einschätzung der gesamtwirtschaftlichen Entwicklung ist von Kontinuität geprägt. Man erwartet sich aber, dass die Politik endlich handelt und entschlossene Schritte zur Verbesserung des momentanen wirtschaftlichen Umfelds und zur Lösung der Krise setzt”, fasst Markus Roth, Bundesvorsitzender der Jungen Wirtschaft (JW), die Ergebnisse einer aktuellen market-Umfrage unter 1200 heimischen Jungunternehmern zusammen.
