On Rockethub: Never Hungover, A Shot To Save Your Sunday Morning

Never Hungover is a mini beverage along the lines of the popular 5 Hour Energy, but this one isn’t used for a pick me up. It can be consumed during a night of drinking and the manufacturer says it aids in avoiding the effects of a morning hangover the next day.

The story behind how founder Parrish Whitaker found the formula for the beverage is remarkable and is outlined on the RocketHub campaign page…

In 2006, Parrish Whitaker’s then 25 year-old sister was diagnosed with Lupus, an autoimmune disease where the body’s immune system becomes hyperactive and attacks normal, healthy tissue. His father, then 65 years old, donated a kidney in order to save her from the deadly disease. Their recoveries were enhanced by a nutrient-rich antioxidant prescribed by their family’s holistic doctor, returning them to full health much faster than expected.

Parrish was so impressed with the formula, he became curious and experimented with other uses, only to find that the antioxidant is useful in avoiding a hangover when taken while drinking alcohol.

It worked so well, he felt his findings should be shared with the world — and Never Hungover™ was born.

Founded in 2010, Never Hungover, LLC is a privately held, Texas-based company, headquartered in Austin, TX that manufactures and sells Never Hungover — one of the beverage industry’s first hangover detox drink.
