Crowdfunding continues to drive disruption in the content creation space. The latest instance of this phenomenon: PixelMags, who wants to become the Netflix of magazines by offering a monthly subscription to 10,000+ magazines for $7 per month.

The company is currently offering these discounted rates on RocketHub via a crowdfunding offering that has raised over $11,000 to date on a goal of just $5,000. According to PixelMags, popular titles available through the service include Digital Photographer, F1 Racing, Total 911, Star Magazine, InStyle, Homes & Gardens, SHAPE, Women’s Fitness, Entrepreneur Magazine, Surfer, National Geographic Traveller and more.
The campaign also offers one particularly interesting reward tier: a lifetime subscription to the service for $599. Thus far 14 people have actually chipped in at that level, which is pretty incredible in and of itself.
