@nickdepetrillo and @ErrataRob on Twitter have written a script that is amassing crowdfunding pledges made via tweets. The goal: incentivize hackers to hack the new Apple iPhone’s fingerprint scanner.
All I ask is a video of the process from print, lift, reproduction and successful unlock with reproduced print. I’ll put money on this.

Thus far a handful of pledgers have promised an eclectic combination of cash, bitcoins and booze to the first hacker who can prove beyond a reasonable doubt that they can hack the fingerprint scanner on the new Apple iPhone.
@Arturas and @IOCapital have pledged $10,000 alone, again via Twitter…
On behalf of @IOCapital, we are pledging $10,000 to the #IsTouchIDHackedYet, and supporting this wonderful crowdsourced security campaign!

Pledgers can promise a bounty by tweeting an amount or reward using the #IsTouchIDHackedYet hashtag. A running list of pledges is available at IsTouchIDHackedYet.com
