Taking crowdfunding to real time.
PitchHelsinki will not only be a pitching contest, but also the first real-time crowdfunding experiment in the world. All the startups that are pitching in the event will be added as investment targets on Invesdor’s website for the duration of the event. The pitches will be published in the pitch section of our website approximately a week before the event.
All investments in the pitching startups will be completed via the Invesdor platform. The funding rounds will only be open for the duration of the event, which is one day.
During this one day, anyone from anywhere in the world can follow the pitches of these ten ambitious startup companies performed live by the entrepreneurs themselves and invest in them!
The pitching startups are looking to get as much seed funding as possible from the event having a discounted rate from their normal valuations for the investors investing during live crowdfunding. This means that the threshold for investing has been set low in order to encourage potential investors into investing.
