Australia based global crowdfunding platform Pozible has announced an interesting partnership with Arts Tasmania called Crowbar. In this new relationship Arts Tasmania is offering approved campaigns an additional investment of up to 50% of the projects crowdfunding target – if successful. These funds are topped out at $2000 but that is nothing to sneeze at. The objective is to support contemporary and professional arts projects, artists and organizations supporting the arts in Tasmania. Crowbar can help boost your campaign and may be used to fund projects that Arts Tasmania does not normally support. Examples given: book printing, cd pressing etc. Package all of this up and you have an “Arts Tasmania Collection on Pozible”.
Your crowdfunding project of course needs to adhere to Pozible guidelines. You must also qualify for the backing via the program officer at Arts Tasmania.
Arts Tasmania is a government agency chartered with policy and planning for the arts. It is also part of the Department of Economic Development, Tourism and the Arts entity.
Pozible is a rewards based crowdfunding site that started in Australia but has since extended their reach to the United States and other countries around the world.
