OnFarm, a data company for agriculture, will be presenting a webinar on the investment opportunities in the company this week. Crowdfunding on AgFunder this is the platform’s first offering for accredited investors.
The webinar on OnFarm, will focus on the data organization and visualization tool to they have developed to help farmers make better use of their time and resources. With the ability to integrate data from any platform, OnFarm’s software integrates field, cloud, and other ag information into a single easy-to-use platform. OnFarm was a finalist for this year’s IBM Global Entrepreneurship award and is developing technologies for a data science market that Monsanto says could grow to reach $20 billion.
The webinar will be on Wednesday, February 26, 2014, at 3:00PM EST. Hosted by Michael Dean of AgFunder, Lance Donny, CEO and Founder of OnFarm, and Cori Capik, Digital Producer & Editor of AgFunder, the webinar will consist of a brief presentation by OnFarm, followed by a question and answer period for interested accredited investors.
Immediately after the webinar, OnFarm will enter a 48-hour early investment period on AgFunder’s crowdfunding platform. After this two-day period is completed, there will be an open access period for additional investors if OnFarm is not oversubscribed.
OnFarm has a target raise of $400,000, with a maximum of $600,000, in convertible notes.
