The Wall Street Journal hosted their first Google hangout in the Middle East hosted by Rory Jones in Dubai. The hangout was organized to answer the basic question: “Is it getting easier to fund a startup in the Middle East”. Of course crowdfunding plays a role in answering this specific question as the innovative form of capital allocation is altering the process of funding small companies around the world.
Jones’ guests included a diverse list of participants including Sam Quawasmi from Eureeca.com – an investment crowdfunding portal based in Dubai.
