MyGoodness Partners Up with Samuel Jackson on “Have You Got Balls”

MyGoodness, a new crowdfunding platform that marries charity donations with exclusive opportunities,  has teamed up actor Samuel L. Jackson to raise awareness of male cancer.

Captain America  has been tweeting to his 3.5m Twitter followers, engaging with users on Reddit and taking to social media the past few weeks making a strong call to action: all men need to visit a doctor to “get themselves checked out.”

Highlighting the fact that 30% more men die of cancer than women in the UK, Jackson makes a passionate plea to men everywhere to be more open about sensitive medical issues, and to see a doctor as soon as symptoms occur.

Jackson has been a passionate advocate of male cancer awareness since last year when he helped launch One For The Boys – a campaign set up to educate men of all ages about the variety of cancers that can affect them and to encourage earlier detection.

Jackson decided to support One For The Boys after he learned that friends had secretly coped with cancer without telling anybody.

Jackson has teamed-up with the new crowdfunding site MyGoodness to run an online raffle to raise money for the campaign. In turn, people have the chance to win a ‘money can’t buy’ experience including a weekend in London, lunch with Samuel.
