Ready to unleash their latest project to fans, the bandmates of Bush have launched a crowdfunding project on PledgeMusic. By pledging funds, the backers can get the band’s merchandise and access to the upcoming album, Man on the Run.
After leaving his original band, Midnight, British singer Gavin Rossdale met former King Black guitarist Nigel Pulsford in 1992. The two formed Bush and recruited bassist Dave Parsons, drummer Robin Goodridge. Later, Chris Traynor and Corey Britz respectively replaced Pulsford and Parsons.
The band had numerous top ten singles on the rock charts and their album Razorblade Suitcase became No. 1 in 1996. Within a few years, the band sold over 10 million records in the U.S.
Unfortunately, the band split in 2002 but was revived in 2010. The bandmates released 2011 album The Sea of Memories and the new record produced The Sound of Winter, which has topped both alternative and rock charts throughout the world.
Rossdale stated on the campaign’s website, “This site is where you can pre-order BUSH’s brand new record (and a lot of other things). Your support has always meant everything to us, and we’re incredibly excited to bring you this music in a direct and unique way.”
“By ordering anything [on PledgeMusic], you’ll get the new album digitally the moment it’s release – in fact, you’ll be the first to know all about it. You’ll also have access to videos, previously unreleased music, exclusive photos, and the change to have some amazing experiences and interactions with Chris, Robin, Corey, and me. It’s an exciting way for us to share the process of releasing our new music.”
Among the campaigns rewards are the following:
- The Sea of Memories on vinyl (signed)
- Limited-Edition Everything Zen single on 7” White Vinyl

- Sixteen Stone Vintage T-Shirt
- Man on the Run on Vinyl
