Icontrol Networks, Indiegogo Form Partnership to Boost Smart Devices

OpenHome LogoAs part of an ongoing initiative to spur innovation across various sectors of the crowdfunding world, Indiegogo has formed a partnership with Icontrol’s OpenHome Labs incubator program.  Now smart home devices launching crowdfunding campaigns on Indiegogo will have special access to OpenHomes program including: mentoring, customer access and more.Slava Rubin DLD14

 “This partnership gives us a way to further empower entrepreneurs around the world who want to be a part of the $71B Internet of Things market,” added Slava Rubin, founder and CEO of Indiegogo. “We’ve already been able to democratize the way people raise funds, and now with Icontrol’s OpenHome Labs we are setting our entrepreneurs up for long-term success that reaches beyond the close of their funding campaigns.”

indiegogoThe OpenHome partner page is available now and indicates three campaigns are already associated with the initiative including; ZEN Thermostat, Reemo and bttn.
