Imperative is an early-stage platform in the B2B industry that helps users “find purpose.” The company not only already has revenue, users, paying customers, clients, and strategic partners, but also has secured $750,000 during its Onevest crowdfunding campaign. Eight investors helped Imperative reach its initial goal for the 506(c) Regulation D private offering. The $750K Onevest seed round to build out Imperative’s full platform and pilot it within companies in paid engagements starting in Q3 of this year. “With a goal of 100k registered users, a series of completed pilots and the full MVP of the platform built, we will raise a series A of $$3-5 million in Q2 2015. This will enable us to build out the remaining key features of the platform and reach profitability by the end of 2015,” states the startup.
“We have some of the leading proprietary algorithm and psychometric data of purpose at work, which is the engine behind our platform. Our book the Purpose Economy gained wide media attention and sales to position a strong brand for Imperative,” explains the campaign. “Our CEO Aaron Hurst is seen as a known thought-leader in the space of purpose at work having spearheaded the pro bono service movement. Our CTO Blue Thomas and technical team are first to build out this type of platform.”
