Poland’s InPay Allows Backers to Buy Equity By Using Bitcoin

InPay

Last week, Warsaw-based bitcoin payment solution provider, InPay, launched an equity crowdfunding campaign on Beesfund to raise 200,000 zloty, which is around $60,000, so it may be able to develop and expand to other markets. Through the platform, the company will be allow backers to use the cryptocurrency to purchase its stock.

According to Coindesk, other equity crowdfunding platforms, such as EquityNet and Crowdcube, are unable to allow investors to use bitcoin as a currency when funding projects. CEO of the Beesfund, Arkadiusz Regiec stated, “For crowdfunding platforms, such as Beesfund, bitcoin seems to be the ideal engine for growth. It makes the whole purchase procedure much quicker and lowers transaction costs.”

InPay noted that it is considered the first payment solution for the cryptocurrency in Central Europe. It provides services to retail outlets in a bid to remove the “obstalces facing the owners of brick-and-mortar and online stores who want to start accepting bitcoin.” President of InPay, Lech Wilczyński shared, “We use the bitcoin protocol to provide a quick and free flow of payments… for company owners from buyer to seller.”

The crowdfunding campaign for InPay is set to close on November 16th.
