#GivingTuesday is a global day of giving, held the day after Cyber Monday. The “opening day of the giving season,” the #GivingTuesday campaign encourages activities that support charities and nonprofits. Whether through donations, volunteering time, helping a neighbor or spreading the world via social media, #GivingTuesday is a movement for everyone who wants to give back.

Anisa Mirza GiveffectCo-founder and CEO of Giveffect, Anisa Mirza stated,”#GivingTuesday fosters engagement in the community, asking everyone to think about what matters most to them, and what they are doing to give back. Giveffect creates an opportunity for charities to not only fundraise directly on their site, but also continue building relationships with their donors.”
