Earlier this year, online recruitment marketplace, Hiring-Hub launched an equity crowdfunding campaign on VentureFounders to raise £425,000 for expansion. The company successfully hit its goal and has announced it appointed a new chairman and non-executive director.
Hiring-Hub is described as “an award-winning, online recruitment marketplace, revolutionizing the UK’s recruitment industry, by offering a compelling proposition for both employers and recruitment agencies.” The company connects employers to an approved network of specialist recruitment agencies that will compete to fill a company’s vacancy for a fixed fee that the employers set, thereby making recruitment easier and more transparent.
Hiring-Hub’s co-founder, Sara Jones, shared, “The advice from VentureFounders was just as valuable as the network of investors they introduced us to. They invested a lot of its time to support us as a management team, helping us to make our company an even more attractive investment opportunity. According to Prolific North, chairman of Better Bathrooms, The Gym and Clothingsites.co.uk, Paul Gilbert, has joined the company as chairman and has even invested an undisclosed sum personally. Along with Gilbert, Better Bathroom’s chief executive and founder, Colin Stevens, has also joined the Hiring-Hub team as a non-executive director.
