The European Crowdfunding Network is ramping up for what strives to be the “reference event” for the fast growing crowdfunding industry across the EU. Organizers have published a detailed program for the convention that will take place in Paris on December 11th and 12th. Noted speakers include Indiegogo co-founder Danae Ringelmann, Candace Johnson President of EBAN, Tamo Zwinge co-founder of Companisto, Aranud Burgot CEO of Ulule, Romain Mazeries of MangoPay and many more.
Topics on the agenda include important subjects like “exits for equity crowdfunding” and the current European legal framework. Industry participants see crowdfunding as a unique and compelling catalyst to “foster innovation and access to finance for SMEs”.
“We worked hard to make the ECN Crowdfunding Convention an unmissable event for all the professionals into crowdfunding and early stage investing -starting from our members- and we are really looking forward to it”, commented Oliver Gajda, ECN’ s Chairman.
All forms of crowdfunding have grown rapidly across Europe. With each country approaching regulations differently idiosyncrasies and regional differences have naturally occurred. The ECN Crowdfunding Convention hopes to be the focal point for discussion and information sharing as the nascent industry moves forward across all EU member countries.
