Verified.Codes, the self-dubbed“ultimate resource for the online shopper” with coupons and deals available for over 25,000 online retailers, announced on Monday (February 16th) that it recently received $500,000 in seed funding.
Unlike traditional coupon sites, Verified.Codes uses a proprietary algorithm to verify codes they display will actually work at checkout. The platform’s sidebar lists coupons with the biggest savings along with soon-to-expire coupons and deals.
The company is poised to use the new funding to further enhance its algorithm and improve the customer’s “couponing” experience by mathematically arranging verified coupons based on user’s preferences.
Greg Dash, CEO of Verified.Codes, stated, “The new funding we received validates our current model and allows us to add to our dedicated staff. We can now expand and better support our most important relationships with major E-tailers, while at the same time enhancing our unique verified coupon model.”
Along with its recently launched Google Chrome extension ‘Max Out Checkout,’ the company is thoroughly vested in improving the way consumers save when making any of their online purchase – even from websites like Amazon.
Dash then added, “We’re proud when users refer to us as ‘the most awesome coupon site on the planet’ on social media. Our primary goal is to help everyone save money in an efficient manner. At the same time, we are constantly improving the end user’s experience on our website by offering geo-targeted local coupons, highlighting soon-to-expire coupons codes: and our crowd pleasing Verified.Codes 50%+ off section.”
